    I love road trips and camping. (I camped a lot as a kid with Royal Rangers/church troop)

    Here's something I stated yesterday on our 3hr trip to Wildwood from Dover...

    "I will never complain about Route 1 to Delaware Beaches!"

    Buahahahaha!

    Seriously, we left just after 10am and arrived at about 1:30pm...taking the Delaware Memorial Bridge route.

    Also, have you seen the distance from the boardwalk to the water?

    Well, I can take Wildwood off my bucket list...(I added it after our friends invited us and gave us brief insight about their younger days visits).

    we’ll see! headed back from DC working on US Park Police heli’s, and it’s my dads bday next weekend so i’m taking him to see Oppenheimer, anyone seen it yet? also meeting with our mechanic who we knew from our Boy Scout days who also truck camps (not quite overlanding but not too different) so we’ll see about scheduling a camping trip in WV soon

    We saw Barbie last weekend in Middletown...love those cozy seats they have in there.

    We would have done Oppenheimer too but that would be a long day.

    The couple we saw Barbie with had this week off and already saw it...said it was long but good!

    I saw a documentary about Oppenheimer on YouTube...now, I know where the term, "The Sky Is Falling" comes from.

    Great that you can spend time with your Dad for his birthday.
