On Dover AFB Auto Hobby Shop doing oil changes.

Son-in-law needed to get signed onto the base…doing the oil changes to the GTI & Mini Cooper are going faster than in my driveway! lol

Next up, my Sporty Spice.

Three oil changes done in one day on Dover AFB...Auto Hobby Shop.

The Aluminum Oil Filter Housing came off a lot easier than the plastic one on my truck.

The Fumoto Valve and tubing allowed for a clean oil change.

Man, I will tout the Fumoto & Aluminum Oil Filter Housing from here on out! lol

 

How do you close the day out before business travel?

By going to the local watering hole with family to celebrate the little things in life.

I'm home by 9pm and just relaxing until it's time for bed...gotta wake up at 4:30am.

Hey Eric,

Flight arrived safely around 10-ish am.

I got my rental and headed to the hotel; was a bit early to check in but staff suggested I use the lounge to rest and check back at noon.

The staff member came looking for me and said she had a room for me; this was at noon.

I took a 3hr nap and woke up hungry but wanted to find the location of where training is being held…that was an adventure.

Needless to say, I’ll be going to the visitor center to get a parking pass and directions to the class.

I’m not looking to venture out after dinner; just head back to the room and lounge.

Class starts at 6am and the location is less than 3 miles from hotel but I’ll still be getting up early.

 

Enjoy the training. Hopefully you can find some good food there too!

 

I had filet mignon & lobster tail from outback tonight.

Im sure there’s specialty foods from this location.

Boy-oh-boy, talk about anxious!

I got up before my alarm to get ready for this training course that begins today.

I think I have the parking situation figured out.

Time to get ready, get some to-go breee are breakfast and bug out! Lol

First day worked out well…as usual, I worried for nothing…lol

Class ended early then I went to meet the rest of the C17 team on Joint Base Charleston.

After that, I felt tired again and realized I needed to take a nap because I was closing my eyelids while waiting at traffic light.

Time to get up and grab some dinner at a different location.

I eat bad when I’m TDY and using per diem/business card. Lol

OMG, that vessel accident on the Frances Scott Key Bridge!!!

I hope the recovery goes well.

 

It’s Mexican for dinner tonight. Drove 5 miles south to an area that looked industrial but hides a gem called: Rancho Lewis.

There’s a brewery next to it; which is not showing on my google maps…must be new.

Two more days of training; Dangerous Goods was completed today—got another that I’m not sure what it is but probably associated with the course I just finished.

Had Brazilian Steakhouse for dinner last night!

Boy-oh-boy...was that filling!

One more day of training (today) and I'll be done.

Fast week...tomorrow is a chill-day...I fly later in the evening.

Hey Delaware,

last night here in Charleston…training class went well.

I jumped on a 6K Forklift and unloaded some bulk items to familiarize myself with operations. All good.

It’s great to be able to wake up at my leisure; even though my body’s alarm is set to early. lol
