Not true. It was on my truck and fit perfectly. Every website that sells them says otherwise. Remember it’s a CatBack system. Please don’t post inaccurate comments. Thank you.

 

You said you have the short bed, he has the long bed. The exhaust fits one of the two, it can not fit both without an extra extension piece. There is 12” difference, it’s impossible to fit both without the extension for the long bed.

 

Will this fit a access cab?

 

I know what we both said. Again, it’s a catback system. Which means it goes from the catalytic converter back. Again, I’ve already confirmed that it works with ALL Tacoma models 2016-2020 w/ the 3.5 engine...from not only the manufacturer, but every dealer that sells the kit. Now please...I’d prefer to keep this post to prospective buyers. Thank you.

 

Yes it will. It fits all 2016-2020 Tacoma models with the 3.5 liter.

 

For anyone who’s wondering if it fits select models: it’s all 2016-2020 Tacoma models and wheelbase lengths as long as you have the 3.5 engine. Here’s a screenshot to prove that....

Here is the Borla cat back extension. TRD has two different cat back exhausts specific to the short and long wheel base models. Do as you please, I tried to help you.

Long bed needs an extension. Dig a bit deeper on the website. Check the installation pdf. Look at the difference between the picture you took of your system. It has 4 clamps and no extension. The pic you posted from the website shows the extension next to the system and a 5th clamp. In the installation instructions it notes that the extension is needed if your truck has a 141” wheelbase(DCLB).

 

I posted a pic of the stuff right off my truck. All the parts needed for the longer wheel base are accounted for in the event one of the rare long bed double cab models (not many out there) ends up being the buyer.

I used heat resistant flat black paint good to 1,000 degrees.

Yes I have a long bed 4 door (dual cab 4x4 off road tacoma) Im not familiar with the term king bed. 73.7 inches.

 

Sorry king bed was a typo...I meant long bed. You're looking at $150 to ship it from Ohio to your zip code...unfortunately it's 53 pounds...
