    It's a 3,000# winch. Our trucks are 4,500-5,500.

Spacer lift, bumper stickers, ejector seat, etc.
In short, you're going to want a 8000lb (or more) winch for these trucks.

The minimum winch rating that should be mounted on our trucks is 8,000 lbs. you need to account extra pulling power for being stuck, you are not winching yourself across a flat surface.

If you are looking for cheap, the harbor freight winches seem to have a decent reputation, though they are slow. Personally I would only go Warn, M8000 for a lower priced model. If you need to run a winch line, you do not want it to fail. It is worth paying extra.

Rule of thumb is 1.5x vehicle weight.... 8-10k would be the range you want.

I was always told if you are ever in a situation where you need a winch, you NEED a winch. And the last thing you want is to be in that situation and find out it failed, for one reason or another. Buy something you would trust pulling your truck out of almost any situation, not something because its a cheap alternative.
I was looking for one this last month. I got a warn from summit racing. Warn has a pretty good promo running when you buy one of their winches. I'd personally spend the extra 200 on the warn, and get some recovery gear for free too. Only took about 2 days to get the winch, 2 weeks after that I got my gear

I fixed it for you :p
No problem. Always do a lot of looking around before you buy. Took me a few days to find that deal. But was pretty happy when I found it was legit

Are there specific winches that will only fit in an Arb bumper for a 2011 access cab?

Have the Warn8000 on mine. Fits wonderfully with the bumper. A bitch to put on, but that's with any winch

I got the 8000, which was about 500 before tax. If you go synthetic it will be quite a bit more. Just do your research and figure out what would suit you best.

Putting the VR in front would have helped.

Synthetic winch line is always a good idea. It may cost more but it's way safer than cable.
