    Did you end up heading out to McCarthy? I drove McCarthy Road on Dec. 31st with no problems. A little ice buildup in places, but no issues. (I took the mail plane out a week later.) I love that area... Got a cousin that lives 10 miles past McCarthy off the Nizina.
