    Hey guys,

Sadly Pismo didnt work out and its not looking to good for the Utah Traverse trip end of May.

I did however get permission from the gf for a 3 day trip somewhere. Problem is Im not sure where to go?!?! She likes camping a lot, hiking, swimming, and the similar. Not a huge fan of offroading however :(

Im debating between Big sur (Turns out its closed for the year), Grand Canyon, Zion/Joshua Tree/Sedona, Pismo (try for round 2?!), or somewhere else!

I need your help TW! As you can see Im in San Diego so anything with in 9 hours is okay, should be something with great views, some rock crawling, hiking, and stuff!

Your Mission Should You Chose to Accept it...

Sedona is awesome. Plenty of hiking/camping opportunities in Oak Creek Canyon. I did the Cathedral Rock hike which I also highly recommend. For swimming, Grasshopper Point and Slide Rock State Park are great with cliff jumping at each. Fantastic main street, although it is a tourism hotspot. For off roading, Broken Arrow, Schnebly Hill, Soldier Pass. Dispersed camping on forest roads up Schnebly Hill.

Anyone got me a list of things to see and trails to do in Zion?

Im thinking drive to Grand canyon, spend one day and night on the top seeing horse shoe and north rim, then I found a trail to take me to the bottom, do that and camp down there. Then leave and drive to zion.

It may not be as big a deal for someone who lives so close, but we came down to your end of the state to spend 5 days in Anza Borrego state park and neighboring Octillo Wells OHV. Tons of wheeling and trails, tons of great camping and hiking too.

In Baja every plant looks like it's out of a Dr Suess book. It's like you're on acid but maybe you're not.
