or... jump on the Bridgeport / Port Jefferson ferry and I can meet you at the dock.

I could possibly even meet you out in Orient I suppose, I drive out there occasionally on a Sunday

@SlashMTB10 keep in mind if you walk on and off the ferry it is MUCH cheaper... albeit you may need another set of hands helping carry the tent on and off...

A year back I sold my oem bumper and the buyer had sent his son and a friend over on the Bridgeport ferry, I met them at the dock and they just hopped right back on.

Yes I did get it mounted, had to throw a few washers in between the spacer because it was rattling on the exhaust (need the reroute). also mounted the RCI front skid I acquired from the group buy. now just need the trans skid and ill be all good.

Hmm that bar thing should have been enough of a spacer. But cool! Glad you got it mounted

it looks like the skid plate may have taken a hit causing it to bend upward just enough to contact the exhaust.

would this sleep two adults comfortably? Warm in cooler temps, cooler in hotter temps? How is it in the rain?

-they consider this a two adult tent, but if you sleep like batteries you can fit a third person or a pet or a child or perhaps even both

-tents have little to do with keeping you warm and or cool, they are predominantly shelters from the elements.... maintaining comfortable body temps and most important avoid sweating is more about having the correct sleeping bag for the

-the tent does come with a rain fly and is considered a 4 season tent, though Tepui does offers a weather hood and if I was planning on riding out some real weather in this I would really consider picking one up, though with some trees some cordelette and a tarp you could easily sling up a secondary roof...

people have camped out much longer in much worse conditions with much less... but after all, this is a roof top tent and Not a piece of backpacking gear...

how far does it hang over the side of the truck opened up? Enough room to attach an annex?

Tepui does offer an annex for this tent
However it is my personal opinion that the annexes are pointless unless it is one of the tents that overhang the ladder
but that is just my personal point of view, if you did decide on an annex for the tents that do not overhand the ladder you are still gaining an extra privacy room for changing or using a potty bucket :)

I had the tent mounted slightly off center, the amount it overhangs will ultimately depend on where you mount it, keep in mind the larger 3 and 4 person tents overhang more and coincide a higher cost...

here are a few pics of the tent deployed, if you roll up the cover neatly you wouldn't have as much wasted space as seen in the pictures.

Man... it's very tempting. I'll have to talk to the lady and see what I can do.

yea I think a part in reason of this not selling yet has been my lady boss refusing any and all offers.
she loves it and has me firm on our price...
