I’ve been following your build thread for a long time. I can’t believe you’re selling after all the work you’ve done to it. What’s going to be the replacement?

If it sells it will get replaced with a 2nd Gen double cab down the road.
But for now I'll probably look for a WRX wagon for my commuter car.

Okay, cool, I wanted to make sure it was still up for sale before I read through every nook and cranny and peruse through the build thread. I'd be more interested in the bed rack configuration. Is that swing out gate in this photo what was on there in the first pictures? And how many miles is on it now?
    Thanks

It is the same swingout, I just have the Hi-Lift mounted to it in the absence of the bed rack.
It just rolled over 320,000 miles.
    Still running strong!

    I HATE MY SUBARU!!!
It doesn't leak any oil, it just burns it quicker than petrol and throws codes all the time.
Who ever said they last forever was lying.

Mine too, sad thing is, when it's not throwing codes it's quite fun to drive.

How much would it cost to get a new engine and transmission put it? Not that it needs it but I would be taking it to Mexico so would want it refreshed.

I wouldn't know, but I would guess probably about $7500 plus installation fees.

Can you email me the high res photos of the current build? I see there were some variations between photos. chriskinlaw@mac.com
