I have been looking at the URD exhaust system for my 3rd Gen.... I was actually on the phone w URD today. Seeking clarity on your setup if you don’t mind. Their system is supposed to be plug-n-play. A few bolts no go. You are saying you had to have the down pipes modified in order for the system to fit at all? Did you receive the correct setup for your vehicle? I’m confused on a modification to something that’s supposed to fit from the factory. What was your experience with the rest of the setup, meaning did you need to modify anything else, tuning, electronics, sensors, error codes? Thanks much in advance.

 

I ordered the correct 3rd Gen Spec U exhaust. Its made to directly bolt up to either the factory header or their own "power extractor".

Unknown to me the OV Tubes being a small batch custom made exhaust part must have changed the angle of the connecting Y-Pipe.

I did not modify anything else. I had a CEL while using this exhaust. CEL is small and didn't bother me.

CEL is probably due to catless pipes. Can be fixed with vF tuner.

 

Probably my final bump before splitting up the combo and selling the Ov Tubes by themselves.
