Voted Michelins, old man has them on his truck and doesn't use anything else. They are kinda pricey but I think they are good tires.

I vote Silent Armors. I've never owned the other two, so I can't speak to them, but the Wranglers have been on both trucks I've owned and I'll probably never go to a different tire. They just work marvelously and last forever.

I have Michelin LTX M/S2 now & am happy. I've also owned Pirellis and was happy; GREAT grip especially for a truck (I had them on a GMC Sierra). I can't recall the size tires I have but they are 1 size bigger and 1 size wider than OME. I've done this for the past 25 yrs for comfort and stability.

I also have Michelin LTX M/S2, but in 265/70R16. I drive in about the same conditions you describe, but with a bit more snow. Other than occasionally wishing for something a bit more aggressive (...like maybe the A/Ts) in deep snow, I'm very pleased with them. They're smooth, quiet and wear well.

I run the Goodyear Silent Armor in 255/75/17 and have had a very good experience with them. I know they are not the most popular on this website, but I truly cannot say anything bad about them. I have roughly 40k miles on them right now and they still have plenty of tread left. I don't do any hard core offroading. Just fishing and hunting excursions on some rough logging roads. They are a good balance for on road and mild off road such as what I do. They have not cut into my gas mileage at all.
I believe the Silent Armor's are being phased out and replaced with the Goodyear Adventurer AT (I may be wrong but that's what I have heard). So you might want to look at those as well.

I have the Goodyears because I have an excellent Goodyear dealer. The Michelins would be my second choice, just because I don't have a Michelin dealer close and even though the Goodyear dealer would get them for me through TireRack.

I really liked the Firestone Destination A/T tires on my Jeep, and the price is right. I plan to go with a set of them on my Tacoma when the time comes.

On my Chevy Silverado I got 82,000 on a set of Michelin LTX M/S. I always prefer Michelin.

I didn't vote because this tire was not on the list.
But that's cool, because once people find out how good they re the price will only go UP.

I have over 12,000 miles on the tires and they still look NEW.
I get asked all the time when I got new tires.

The only complaint I have is the tine grooves in the side wall.
They cake full of dirt and are a PITA to clean. I now take a stiff bristle broom and it makes the job A LOT easier.

I recommend M/S2 for everyone who is not a mudder. I have them and their traction blows my mind. I go off road on crush, gravel, sand, little bit of mud, rocks, wet grass etc and they do fine. On the road they are amazing. I have driven with the Michelin A/T2 and they are good but not as good. If you don't travel on a lot of gravel roads they are sacrificing tread life, road noise, and wet traction of the M/S2 for nothing.

I have driven on Good Year silent armour, duratracs, and the new adventure with kevlar and I don't think they compare to the Michelins for wet traction... or tread wear for that matter.
