I agree with you, be patient and you will get people that can give you good suggestions. You just have to remember when you get wise ass comments, those people are clueless and most likely and far from being able to help anyway. It probably took them quite a while to come up with what they said, and to type it was another challenge .

Totally agree with McTeague. Was it ok when you purchase it as far as driveability. The previous owner did he do something to it to decide to unload it, like hit a bolder damaged the frame? I had a work van with 60,000 miles on it that needed new tires. A local shop put a set on, that's when I started getting a vibration at 60 mph. Just regular street tires, they try to balance them twice. Then though it was the shocks so they replace those, I even took it to another shop they tried to balance the tires. Went back to the first shop told them I was still having a vibration. The guy in the office started to blame something else, I told him I never had a problem until he put those tires on. Come to find out the tires were out of round, they had high spots on them! They put a new set on, fixed that issue but had warped the rims by taking them on and off so many times! Ended up going to another shop, to get them replaced.

I've read that a lot of guys have had issues balancing the BFG KO's.

It's been mentioned before, so I'll second it: Find a shop that has a Hunter Road Force balancer, and also a set of Haweka adapters.

    Start here: http://www.hunter.com/gsp9700

Call the nearest place to you, and ask if they also have the Haweka adapters. The adapters mount the wheel to the balancer via the lug holes simulating how it would be mounted to the truck much close than it can with the cone. I had an issue years ago with my wife's car after replacing stock with aftermarket wheels, and was amazed at how little most places know about balancing. One other little known method of balancing is called "Match Balancing". Most tires come with painted dots to indicate the light spot. They are supposed to match the light spot on the tire with the heavy spot on the wheel (the valve stem). Most places don't do this unless you request it. Go that route, and they should be able to isolate, if not find/fix the problem. If they find that the tires are the problem, it may be worth it to just get a new set of tires, rather than a new truck.

The pulsation while braking sounds like warped rotors. I know you said they were turned, but it sounds to me like that's the issue with that particular problem.

I have had the Same problem on my 2007 toyo tacoma tx edition. It originally came with 20" wheels w toyo tires. The steering wheel wobbled as i bought my truck brand new with 19 original miles. I took my truck to the dealership 3 times with no resolution. I eventually gave up on the dealership as I was having to leave my truck a full day each time. B4 I purchase aftermarket wheels, I decided to have the 20" original wheels inspected by an independent repair wheel company. They concluded that all 4 wheels are center bent and are non repairable. The shop showed me first hand how the tread on the tires swerve while spinning on the wheel balance machine. I'll b taking this issue up again w the dealership but will prob be screwed since it's way beyond my 3yr/36k warranty.
