You have to remember you are also seeing a very small number of total trucks sold being represented in the complaints. Not saying there aren't problems but a happy truck owners are less likely to seek out a forum and say anything. Like any other large purchase you should never buy based solely off of a nameplate and do your homework, and test drive a few different trucks. I love my '08 and am looking at the 3rd gen but I think I'm going to wait for another model year or two to let them get some of the kinks worked out.

 

My thoughts are there should be more from the autobox crowd; followed by the eventual 'Toyota just gave me an additional 60k mile warranty on my tranny at no charge' threads.
