At this point, it's on rocky ground - but I'd still rather not have to deal with it. If something did come up because of it, it would be a total waste of time and energy over something stupid. Which HAS been known to happen before...

I've been dealing with some issues lately as well, but it seems to always work out better when I'm completely honest and forthcoming dealing with calls and multiple letters from ex's. We end up getting a good laugh out of it pretty much every time.

I see it more like your on the phone and you get in an accident. The fact that you were on the phone at the time of the accident can be used against you. No records, no proof against you. Data loggers in the truck already know how fast you were traveling and when brakes are applied and other information and Toyota, the insurance companies and the police have the equipment to draw out this information. You wan't them to access to your phone records too?

No laws about using blue tooth to talk on your phone. Not distracted driving.

Takes a long time to weed out those ex's, get them to not call, txt etc, and it can be a plenty bumpy ride until you do.

I really like the ability for the car to read me my texts but it almost got me in trouble the other day. The wife sent me a text which I almost reflexively had the truck read while I had passengers. Good thing I didn't play it.

I'm in a much different position than most married men though as we (the wife and I) have mutual girlfriends.

My ex used to get all weird over texts I would get. I made it a point to leave my phone unlocked because I never did anything wrong but the fear from her drove her nuts and subsequently drove me nuts. She's been through her fair share of men in the last 5 years and I now know why.

Sometimes never, if there are kids involved.

It got so bad with my ex that I would just turn my phone off at night. I would wake up with a bombardment of 20 something texts all several paragraphs long each. I wouldn't read them even I would just delete them. Couldn't block her because I was on a pre-paid carrier at the time. Glad I am not the only Tacoma owner with a crazy ex!

If it comes up, I will be honest - I don't have anything to hide and I didn't do anything wrong. Still, I'd rather it not even have to get that far. You know how women can be - even if I am completely honest and the explanation makes sense, they can still have that little bit of doubt in the back of their mind. Especially if they ever decide to ask one of their girlfriends about it...

Oh and they remember the little things that are literally nothing! My Ex said something along the lines of "after all the times you cheated on me and i forgave you!?" I never cheated on her, but times when random girls would call and I made the mistake of answering or if I was hanging out with 100 other friends but 1 girl was there she didn't like apparently was me cheating all those years...

Man this has really turned into a vent about crazy girls thread... ever get the history deleted?
