I currently have a rack on my old truck that I've fallen in love with. IMG_1106.jpg I do all kinds of wood work & it holds what ever amount of wood I can put on it. It makes it easy to get in/out of the bed in a flash. I know it will fit on a Taco. IMG_9938.jpg The delema I have is that I had to drill into my Ranger to secure it & I don't want to do that to my '17 Taco. I've been searching for a rack system that it comparable that uses the T-track system on the bed walls. The only two I've found is the Leitner & the Wilco. I'm not sure the Leitner will work the same & the Wilco is cool but way too expensive. I already own the current rack & I just customized it to fit my two kayaks. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to use the T-track system with out haveing to fabricate new brackets. I don't have the means to weld any together. IMG_2875.jpg

Are you trying to use the rack you had on the Ranger, or buy a completely new solution?

I want to use the one I have because it does the trick & it's already paid for.

Why not drill? At least you don't have to worry about rust drilling your Tacoma. :)

You could just buy 2 pieces of large long angle. Place them over the rails. Mount one side to the T track system and the other to the rack frame. No welding just drilling holes in the angleiron and buying those T track mount brackets along with angleiron and bolts.
The extra weight and cost would make me want to find a local welder though.

This post makes me miss my 2003 ranger. 165k miles when I sold it for $6k. Never in the shop once in the last 60k miles that I owned it.

I figured this dilemma out. It’s looking good so far. I C6B077C6-3F9B-4352-906A-42642A3A5BDB.jpg love this Yoda.
