Delta joint replacement?

So I’ve noticed some play in the deltajoints on my icon UCAs and started looking at replacements. Another set of delta joints would be $200+

Now I’m wondering if there would be a better option for me. I specifically don’t like that the deltajoints don’t have a boot to protect them. Does anyone have any experience putting different ball joints in their icon UCAs or other aftermarket UCAs?

 

i started to get play in mine at around 60k kms and Icon was nice enough to send replacements free. if you havent had them long you could contact them and see.

i am interested to hear the answer to your question as well if anyone has found another solution as i likely wont get the same warranty support next time and the Delta Joints dont seem like they will last as long as Icon suggests.
