    Price of the cable does suck, but you get what you pay for. Only Synthetic Line I've worked with it MasterPull, which has worked very well. Smittybuilt's synthetic line works really well from what I've heard. Then there's Viking Offroad and Amsteel Synthetic which I know nothing about, but I've heard they're priced better then MasterPull. Might be better off just selling the winch you currently have and getting a SmittyBuilt X2O Synthetic 10,000lb Winch. For $550 of Amazon.com, it's really well priced. Get a stronger, more compact, winch and a synthetic line.

    Not going to sell my Warn winch for a Smitty..... Amsteel Blue Is going to be about $300 for 100' of 3/8" from Southeast Overland and that's without a hook or anything at the end.

    Only pulled my 4runner with the breaks on to spool it up and I think the synthetic line will work fine, other than that I haven't used it. But I do like my flatlink it looks good..
