I will probably do mine next time. But at the time that I bought it (around 105,000) just wanted it done.

How did you hold your crank in place while tightening the crank bolt?

    Don't forget to gas up.:p

I just got the carrier bearing done on mine at over twice the mileage. Body mounts next for me too.

Are you planning on getting a body lift at the same time? Just curious as I'm sticking to stock/oem.

We'll see how these go, not really looking forward to doing them haha

No, I'm sticking to the OEM as well. The energy suspension ones. And the carrier bearing doesn't give me any vibrations yet, but it squeaks like crazy when going in reverse...

I'e been thinking of switching back to mobil1. I've run amsoil for the last 3 changes. Mobil1 for the 2 changes before that. I think the PO had conventional oil in it. Seen some vids on YouTube that show better protection against extreme cold. Which there is alot of that in the Great White North.

Dang, I never ordered one of those drain valves!
I was going to say that gas should be the next thing, but I see you've beat me there.

Good for you man. It was a joke...obviously I don't expect every 1st gen Tacoma to have one or to have the same exact mods.

Although it does make it a lot easier for me to change my oil. Since I live in a condo there are rules on what we can and can't do in our own garage (working on our cars is prohibited). So what I do is I'll drain my oil while I sort things out or clean my garage. No tools = no issues with our HOA. They've been pretty chill lately though.

I meant to order one a couple years ago, but forget until it's time to change my oil again. Then it's too late and I don't want to wait for shippinh

My post was supposed to be on a lighter tone.....But apparently I failed :frusty:

I guess the use of the emojis is a must.

Glad it works for you, it's definitey a loop hole if they say " no tools"

    First world problems :D

Seriously though, order it right now. Then it will be ready for next oil change:thumbsup:

No, then it'll get lost because I only do an oil change once a year
