    I've definitely noticed that...

Next up on the list is a regear... Do you happen to know if a 4.56 front diff out of a tacoma/4runner would bolt straight into this Tacoma? Thinking about buying the front diff and just having the rear one regeard...

    Yeah long as it's a 95-04 Tacoma 95-02 4runner or 97-04 tundra it's the same diff.

    For a little ;)

Going to be getting a front diff out of a 4cyl Tacoma or 4runner already geared to 4.56 so the front regear will technically be "free"

That is awesome. With a manual this will be a good choice on 33s.

I'm hoping I'll like it! Felt the weight increase with the new tires and starting from a stop has not been the most fun.

Wondering what my speedo will read after this regear, probably will change the speedo gear to correct it when I see how off it is.

Use a Dakota Digital better. It will get your Speedo more exact.

Interested to see how you like it. I may go 4.88s just to be a little over geared. But that's not for a while now

Hmmm, looks like a lot of work to install... I think depending on my speed after all this is done a 33 tooth gear should almost put me right on.

It seems complicated but it’s only 3 wires that you tap into. It’s just power, ground, and then intercepting the speed signal.

    DD Wiring:
    Ground to Blue
    Power to Pink
Signal In to Green/Red (Factory taped up side)
Out 2 to Green/Red (harness side)

I have pics in my build thread you can check out as well.l if you’re interested.

4.56 ready to go in. Won't be able to install until Wednesday... Need to still get a gasket for it also.

How’d you get them so fast? Did you just order the gears or a whole new 3rd memeber?

Hows it feel to have some power back. Of all the mods I have done to my rig, regearing is still the best one.

    Hey sweet looking truck!
I'm thinking the same Predator front and wrap around rear that you've got, great taste in armor!!
