I agree! On my setup it fit very easily with minimal trimming required and looks great!

Interesting... Why not have it wired into you backup lights? I'm probably going to wire mine in a way where they're connected to the backup light and work when in reverse, but then I can turn them on/off with a switch in the cab so I don't have to have the truck in reverse just to have them on.

Well considering the rear bumper I want is $2,100 shipped. Gonna be a while ;)

And with that much extra weight I would like to regear first, but we'll see.

I'm also thinking about using the BAMF antenna mounts to put some reverse lights on instead.

CBI is expensive... But they're the only ones that make the style bumper I want, unless I could get a Franken Fab bumper @Blackdawg :boink:

Haha yeah, I just wish they had more pictures of their swing-out version. The two I've found isn't enough for me to decide whether or not I like it.

    Yeah, true.

My main complaint is how huge the side protection pieces are. They look too big for us 1st gens, but look great on 2nd gens. Do you have any closeup pics of how far they stick out when looking from the front of the truck?

No way I could build my own haha

Probably the best I have. The pictures exaggerated it a bit, but they stick out roughly an 1" or so past my fender flares....

Nice exactly what I was looking for.

I'd prefer just to cut my bedsides if that would mean them being tucked in more.

If you've seen @bayareataco 's taco, you could do something similar to what he did.

    Yeah, that wouldn't be bad...

Would be cool if I could just buy his and have it sent to Relentless for the swing-out.

Yeah Jimmy's rear is my favorite! Wish I could have his and make it into a swing-out

Couldn't you technically just have Eric send you the standard rear bumper with one of his swingout and then you could go from there...? There will be a bit of welding, but nothing like building the whole thing...

Because I didnt much care for them being on whenever my reverse lights were on when a simple flip of the switch would work well. Also I didn't want to be backing up at malls at night and blinding people. It works for me and its simple.

I plan to eventually make that frankenfab bumper once I get good enough at welding. Its my most favorite bumper for the first gens by far. I agree that the relentless one is a bit bulky.
