Will you be making the 12-14 in Aluminum any time soon? I'm on the fence but the weight savings is a huge plus....

Not anytime soon, we are going through our line up of bumpers and redoing them to this new style with the extensive framing inside. Then we will start over with the FJC first with aluminum. The aluminum is very popular on our website but the cost is pretty high so we have to start with the highest volume and work backwards. The Tacoma will definitely be second in that line up though! I would estimate early next year for the aluminum and a cost difference of 300+.

three questions for anyone who knows:

is the whole thing powder coated? the supports are pc in the pic on this thread but not on the pics on DO's website.

this is pretty much bolt on, no? any cutting besides the fender liner?

if using Duallys or D2s can you use the factory fog light wiring and factory switch?

    thanks!

I do that all the time, I'm constantly in catch up mode:)

The whole bumper is powder coated yes, if that option is selected. The bumper is bolt on, just need to cut the inner liner plastic with a razor blade. We have seen people use the Duallys and D2's, I think they had to put a washer or two to space them up so they are centered in the mount but they should fit.

    Anymore questions let us know...

Haha, damn, and I'm out of the country for the next year.. Oh well, more time to try and "save" money rather than buy a bunch of parts and have them sit that entire time until I get back and then have to deal with moving it all, too. Great looking bumper, though!
