Not sure as a friend took my truck out on a trail came back and said he hit a rock woth the slider. That was the only thing damaged so I don't believe his story 100 percent. I don't even see the truck being heavy enough to bend it like that.

    Thank you,

Install instructions are something that we actively have been trying to improve upon and put more effort into. We are also transitioning into production products that use to be common to ship bare-metal and with no instructions. We are now working towards making things more user friendly and install friendly. Thanks for your input.

It's not. We've seen trucks dropped on huge rocks with the whole weight and the most it does is dent the sliders or slightly bend. With any brand. it's just the nature of the material.

Any idea what material they are made of? Could come down to a thin walled tube or just a bad batch of material.

For me, I'm having trouble wanting to spend so much. I would love to have steel front and back but its such a huge investment. I guess if we could do some more group buys where we can get some price discounts for a large order. Shippings another beast in itself too. I need to get a better paying job! I end up weighing the costs between making my own and buying some and shipping them... I don't think you guys can really do much in this department without eating into your profits. Just what I'm thinking.

Anything is possible. Depending on age, we now use DOM for all sliders except the FJ round sliders. 1.75in tube .120 wall. I assume those are ours? I can't tell from the pics.

We've been doing this a long time and I've never seen a set of sliders get trail damage like that. I've seen trucks T-boned by larger vehicles and they didn't look that bad!. If i had to wadger a guess based off the limit view of those shots I would say he was travelling at a high rate of speed and hit a large in-move able object like a large boulder.
    Again that's a guess.

The market has changed since we started this. DIY stuff use to sell well and we had them on our website. Our early competition only sold DIY stuff. Meaning you had to weld your own sliders legs on onto your frame. We were kinda one of the first (one of them) to work on bolt on options and a more user friendly product. Now this stuff is the norm and I don't see it going back but that would decrease cost significantly. Cost of material and also employee wages are a huge contributing factor. When We started min wage was 5.75 an hour it's 12.00 an hour now. With that all the taxes and workers comp has increased as well. This trickles through all the products from bolt hardware to a sticker.

Ive seen sliders take alot of abuse and have also never seen a set like this. I was bummed when my friend brought the truck back and I saw them as they had only been on for about 6 months. What's crazy is it was litteraly the only thing damaged which is what stumps me cause I woulda thought the same thing he hit something at a fast speed but no damage to the frame truck still drove straight. I think the tubbing just had a week spot in them. I wish I had the money for a new set other then them getting that gouge in them I liked them, only thing I would do different if I got another set is get ones with a kick out. I'll snap a picture of the full length of them once im home from work.

Yeah those are very old, We haven't used the two hole method in the bottom of the frame in years. I honestly don't even think there are 5 sets out there like that. We went to U shaped bracket pretty quick. Those are so old we made those brackets by hand I think. I know those tubes were even bent by a manual bender.

Overall I was extremely pleased. One isssue, but nothing I considered anything more than a tiny hiccup.

I ordered my 4th gen 4Runner bumper on the black Friday sale. Was told end of January for shipping because they were out of stock. I sent an email and Tiffany responded very quickly that they were a few weeks behind and it would now be a few extra weeks. That's my only complaint of the entire experience , I wish rather than having to contact you to find out why it had not shipped yet, that I had gotten an email simply saying running a few weeks behind.

The packaging job was fantastic (thank goodness, the shipper treated it like a trash can on the way to the dump, at least the truck that dropped it off did), thanks to the superb wrapping job it arrived in mint shape.

The quality was fantastic, welds look awesome, every hole lined up perfectly, powder coating was perfect, every nook and cranny was covered. All hardware was there. Winch mounted up perfectly , licence plate holes were dead on. I am SUPER OCD about everything lining up perfectly on both sides. I measured and every line is exactly the same and perfectly uniform.

I pay $2,000 for semiconductor parts I have welded up with 2 flanges on each side and they are 24" long. The fact that you guys make this for half that price and 10x as complicated is nothing short of amazing.

I have been in the aftermarket auto parts world for 15 years now. I have worked with companies selling me everything from custom manifolds for 1000hp Skyline engines to fully tubed drift cars to stuff as simple as off the shelf gaskets. Good customer service is hard to find, but slowly it seems these companies either figure it out or go out of business because of the internet and forms giving them reputations. For the most part I think it's a good thing. Yes, it can be difficult dealing with some customers who go on forums and bash for stupid reasons, but I think for the most part, most people state there issue and if the vendor does the right thing the company actually gets more attention and positive reputation because they are seen by thousands taking care of the customer.

Anyway , I think I got a little side tracked on this post but don't feel like going back through it to make it more organized and sound good haha. Long story short, great product, keep up the good work!

We strive to make sure our lead times are as accurate as possible. It's a tough game though, we often get hung up on when we tell them a honest lead time and then we see them post on the forum a couple months later where they went with another vendor and they weren't honest and they are still waiting. BUT we maintain we'd rather be upfront then try to just make a sell. That said, our sales get away from us sometimes and our lead times get turned around. We recently had an aluminum bumper pre-order sale, before we knew it the first batch had sold out and we were on the next one. When the dust settled we found out that a lot of people were on the second batch. We are happy for those that will wait, we feel they will be happy with the final product!

    Thank you.

Just tried to go on your website is it down? And theres mo point in getting upset with a long wait time it's not like that makes it happen faster.
