    Hey all,

I recently spoke with Jason from Demello Offroad asking if they'd make a 1st gen Tacoma bumper. He told me there hasn't been enough interest in the past which I think is crazy because the bumpers they make are fantastic. He said if I could gather enough interest (20-30 people) that they would begin production. What do you guys think? Pictured is an example of the bumper they would make... He said the price would be 800-1000.

My old 04 taco had their prerunner style bumper for it. If I still had a first gen, I would be on this list for one.

    Definitely interested.
Would be sweet paired up with their 1st Gen Hybrid tube/steel bumper (if they were still in production) ;)

Thanks guys, and thank you Andrei for posting. We've done a couple over the years. The production version wouldn't have a DO, here are a couple shots of how we've done them.

Price I would hope could start at the 800.00 mark. The one issue with the 1st gen Taco's is the frame changes. It has 3 different frames and two are pretty close together. So most likely there will be some drilling or if you prefer welding involved so we could make a "one size fits all bumper".

Ah this is true, I had to cut mine up a little bit to fit. Nothing a few beers couldn't handle!

Too heavy for your banger... Hahahaha!

It's a joke, the 2.7 would handle it just fine ;)

So I'll be updating the main post with a list of interested folks. Spread the word!!! Let's get this list up to 30!!! So far it looks like we have 8 interested and of those, 6 that are in for sure. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Just a few months too late for me, otherwise I'd ask to be added to the list. I had asked DO about this a while ago but was never informed about gathering a group of 20-30 (I think they were just too busy at the time), so I finally gave up.

Decided to go with Shrockworks since they have a great looking bumper too. Had them add a few "support" bars to my single hoop and called it a day. Good luck to you guys that are interested. Hope it all works out.

Yeah. Shrockworks is definitely my next choice, but I'm hoping we can pull this off...

I'd definitely be interested just not sure when I'd have the money. Bumper is the last thing on the list I need.

A solid bumper is a very important safety feature! It should be high on your list. Safety first!!! :p

Ha ha yes. Lift and getting the rust off the frame are the next two steps!
