    Hey forum,
thought I'd show you a potential setup if you have power in your truck bed. I'm using an LG monitor and Hauppauge 950q hd antenna only.

Maybe set it up camping, or at a bbq or something..
I'll have another video eventually showing that you can hook up a damn playstation in the truck bed if you wanted :)

Sweet! Is the truck on, or is it running off the battery?

In this sample, it's running off battery.
But you can fire the truck up as well.

In this clip, when I walked to the truck, I just pushed the power button on the left side of the steering wheel.

( regarding running down the battery )
I don't know how long it's feasible to run off the battery. But it's just the monitor only, no other components were needed. I suppose there's a way to have an idea using math, but probably not much different than pumping your stereo only off battery.

If I was going to do something like that regularly, I would just get another battery and use that. Probably not worth a possible stranded situation

Key -> ignition -> accessory level on...
Then I just pushed the power button to on from the cab.

Give it a test ! just bring a radio out there or something.

@JoDiddley : I totally agree. Really depends on how you would use this ability. for this vid, i was just showing "it's possible and pretty damn easy". The rest is up to all the creative users in this forum !

You could just run an extension cable and crank up the engine occasionally. I don't know that I see a scenario where someone would want to do this for 6 straight hrs every day, etc.. But to each his own !

    later,
    AC
