Well I was backing out of the driveway, and I had not noticed that my brother left the stupid trash cans behind my truck and I hit it!

Now there is a little dent in the tailgate. Can't really notice it when you look straight at it, but when you look at an angle, you can really notice it!

I've dried the hair dryer and air duster technique...but no luck. :( Any ideas?

I backed into my trash can a couple weeks ago, no damage though.

I'm new to this site and I was researching this as well. I have seen the hair dryer and compress air method. I also found on youtube that some dry ice works. From the video he kept on rubbing the dry ice over the dent and it eventually disappeared. I also have a dent and will try that as well. Let me know if you get to it first. :D

haha. Join the club. The person I bought my truck from didn't lock his trailer down. Eventually the tongue jumped off the ball and ended up running into the tailgate. I've got a good size dent. But the tailgate works fine.
