One of our cars has two indentations in the tire? To my understanding, as long as its not bulging out, then its fine right?

I'm not an expert, but I would be worried that it was a weak spot. Just my $.02

I've seen things like that on motorcycle tires before and the manufacturer usually will warranty them. If the place you bought them from doesn't want to replace them, email/call the manufacturer and see what they think. Include pics if possible. Tire manufacturers don't want another Ford explorer/Firestone thing happening!

It is from when the tire was made. The plies of rubber meet at the end and overlap and this is created. Some tires you see it more and some you do not see it as much or at all. I had some Uniroyal Laredos on a work that looked the same way.

I wouldn't be worried about it. Looks like the tread is getting a little low.

My spare had dents, but thats only from it being jammed up under the rig for so long. Eventually the dents went away after I took it out from underneath.
