i got a set of custom retrofit headlights made by another person on this forum and the switchback halo already failed. Looking for someone in the Denver area that can help repair.5A209460-94B4-4FA0-8938-60DB5BAB12ED.jpg

its not hard to fix on your own, you just remove all screws, stick it in the oven and pry it apart. Then use some wire to put the halo back on then seal them back up with butyl.

Thanks for input, but seems a little over simplified. What temp, how long? If it were that simple seems we could all just DIT these retrofits and save spending a lot of money paying someone else.

Pretty worried I’ll melt the whole damn thing and end up buying a new oven

If the lights are made from oem headlights. .
Than it is just the easy..just Follow a black headlight mod write up here on tacomaworld for the steps... https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sou...FjAAegQIAxAB&usg=AOvVaw2MYx7v_e-PTztDwVTmhjNF

If the headlights are made by a different manufacturer...it'll be trial and error
Oem ones...we have members who have fully melted and shared their mistakes to help us avoid them..
