Well my '98 cluster had 2 bulbs I swapped condoms on and the 01 cluster I later swapped into that truck had 2 bulbs I swapped the condoms on, so...

Take your cluster out if you don't believe me, but I know for a fact that LEDs weren't in the clusters til 05.

I think they are 73 or 74 bulbs. Search around here, I know a few guys have done that swap and should have difinitive info for you, sorry. They should also have pics to tell you the best type to get (wide angle, super wide angle, SMT led, etc to prevent hot spots) You could always goto the dealer and they will be able to tell you what bulb it is.

I've done a newer Oem white faces cluster, not sure if ever took a pic of it though. Looked great from my memory!

    Are there different LED requirements?

Nope, same exact LEDs. I do remember the pin outs are different, as when I plugged the cluster into my 05, not all the normal lights lit up (ie the headlight indicator stayed lit when it should not have) again, nothing to do w the actual swapping of the LEDs, just a difference in pin outs between the years.

The white faced cluster do use a different arrangement of LEDs, don't remember exactly what the number difference is at this very moment. I'll try to dig up a picture of the cluster when I get home

it would be a nice little roadtrip. i have also done all kinds of clusters, radios, and the above NAV unit all by mail. you include LEDs, $ for service and a prepaid return label. i complete the cluster the same day I get it and have it in the mail on its way back to you by whatever means you pay for the very next day. let me know if you are interested...

I've got an '06 Taco and the airbag light and the TPMS light are both not working (burned out?). It's possible someone disabled them on purpose, but I was wondering if that's something you can repair. I know both systems are working because I swapped out the gauge cluster and they both work just fine. However, I want to keep my original gauge cluster to avoid having to try to get the odometer reset.

Let me know what you think. I live in Colorado Springs so I could bring it to you.

    Thanks,

    - Gino

i could easily swap or install leds on both of those areas for you. some people have me remove the TPMS LED, so maybe thats what the previous owner did. or some people put a piece of black electrical tape in front of the lights so they dont show in the cluster. I cant imagine that the LEDs would go out, as they are supposed to last for years...havent you seen the promises on all the granola bulbs at home depot!

shoot me a pm, should be an easy fix for ya.
