If I don't get it done by then, and you are not too busy, that happens to be precisely where I live :D

I figured I'd pay you your normal rate plus get you lunch if you stopped by my place to solder it up.

cool, well i'll let you know more as i get info...there is a very good chance he will break it of though, but we'll see!!

you need 168 bulbs i believe. i know for a fact that the 04s didnt use the kind of SMT LEDs. search over on customtacos.com...they are more catered to the older gen tacos.

Is there any way I could overnight my gauges to you and send a call-tag with them so that you could send them right back when you were done?

Are the gauge dials lit in any way when the headlights are off?

My RX8 has dials that are lit up white with the H/L off and go red with the H/L on. If I'm gonna mod the cluster lighting on the truck, I'd probably want to go with a similar setup if possible (maybe have the needles go from red on whit to green or blue on red as well); if there's room to mount dual lights in the cluster it'd just be a matter of running a SPDT relay switching power to either set of lights.

Are the cluster lights monted into specific prepared spots, or do the LED's just feed light into a pece of plexi to light up the specific spots on the front side?

Would it be possible to mount a double set of backllight LED's to switch between and have either set work individually?

^ yes, they are SMT LEDs...you have to mount htem on the pad on the circuit board..they are also in series, so all three have to be hooked up properly to work.

concerning a double set, that would be completely custom, i wont do that, but your more than welcome to!!
