I believe so, I had no issues at all prior to going through the automated car wash. The next day I was walking back out to my truck and the drivers headlight was full of condensation. I done some research and have it in the oven at the moment set at 170 and it's 99% dried out but now I have some water spots. o_O

I think I may call or email the seller and see about returning the one or both for a refund or exchange. I love the way they look but if they are going to leak with this much RTV meticulously applied then I dunno if THIS light will ever seal up. The other is doing awesome.

This is what we have thus far. Note: The water spots developed when I was using the fan outside (40* and sunny today) not while baking.

Just installed a set of these last weekend and added a bead of silicone all along the housing and where the lense connects. Spent about 30 mins on each one making sure I filled in all the gaps. I also glass multi coated the lenses with a product from Dr. Beasley's coatings so hoping this keeps them fresh for a long time.

Overall I'm very satisfied with the light output after aiming them. They were really high out of the box. The black housings match my truck's color theme (magnetic grey and black).

noticed that my headlights have both water in them and one of my halos went out...they are crummy aftermarket spyder headlights i think (bought truck and it had them on already) I am looking to get this set up but are there any other brands out there that are going to be solid? I do not want to have to worry about sealing them properly and waiting for them to fail...

If you want black (aside from doing the BHLM) I think they are all around this price point. Odds are they are all made in the same factory. I'm going to email the seller and see if the warranty will cover them. If so great, if not oh well. No big deal. Im going to take my old lights apart and do the BHLM on them and then sell these or take the one apart and see if I can get the water spots out.

Plan on putting SILICA PACKS when I do my retrofit. No worries about condensation. Got 200 of them off of eBay for 2-3 bucks lol!

Can someone take a pic of the back of the housing with the rubber boot removed and see if it's possible to put in a few SILICA packs in the housing.

I have had these for a few years without issue. The fit was good.

Standard procedure with any cost effective aftermarket ebay headlights is to seal them up with an extra bead of silicon. There are many TW threads on this topic running through the years. New year, same story line...

I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking about doing this. I've been saving a few just in case it becomes an issue. I believe you will be able to slip some in without an issue.

I have condensation on my passenger side OEM headlight, don't want to open it up so I'm hoping I can slip a few (more like 6) silica packs in there without opening the headlights.

Ebay lights. Not sure if it was the cheap LED bulbs use of the halogen housing, or the halogen housing itself. I attepted to adjust the bulb down to the point the reflector fell off.
    Retrofits in route.

i have them and they seem to be pretty good quality for aftermarket.... NOW with saying that, I'm having to order a second pair because i did a retrofit on my first pair of DEPO headlights and while i was taking the driver side headlight apart i somehow managed to crack the clear lens. i didnt realize it until i washed the truck and saw condensation build up around where the crack is. SO ive ordered a second pair to fix the cracked one, and now ill have spare parts in case i have other issues.

Yes it was my fault for cracking it... but I do know that i didn't use very much force while working with the headlight. They are not as tough as OEM.

The DEPO headlights are great replacements for stock if you dont want to spend the money for new OEM lights.

Just ordered a pair. I'm not too confident that they'll last without condensation or leaking being in Washington State, but mainly bought them for the look. Does condensation affect the lighting significantly?

I spotted a pair on Amazon warehouse for $100. Naturally I had to grab them so I can attempt a retrofit now.

You'll see them just about everywhere. They may say they are different brands but I'm willing to bet they are all from the same build house.
