Not sure if the pic is working, but it's on.

LCA washers were a nightmare, but rest of it isn't bad.

An update on the go fast stuff... I thought I was going on a Tacoma meet, but ended up chasing a squad of can-ams.... while I couldn't go as fast It got beat to shit trying lol. All uniballs, alignment, and bushings are all fine thankfully.

I am thinking about switching to the fk sealed uniballs in the future however.

Bro those washers had me questioning my sanity! I had to grind the two rear most washers a little.

I ended up substituting the passenger rearmost washer for a thinner one; I do have the Marlin Crawler LCA mount gusset things welded on and some decently hard wheeling... there's no guarantee my mounts are completely straight/true anymore.

Yesss I have the gussets too but I'm pretty sure when the shop welded them they did with the lower arm bolts tightened. In stock form the pivots have a little play but not here haha. Where did you get the thinner washers?? I looked all over

Yeah, we did mine with the LCA on too... whoops.

I have random hardware in a bucket... so no idea where they originally came from.

With 35-37" tires, we're hitting tire on stock inner fender well before full shock compression, right?

I know I saw a 2" bump spacer is needed - is that most common?

Does anyone have the shock measurement at compression when a 35-37" tire just touches the inner fender? Just to be sure my bump will be the limit and not the shock @ full compression.

Just install the suspension without the shock and cycle it. Too many differences between tire / wheel combos to know for sure until you do. If you want the most out of your kit you’ll need to remove whatever’s in the way at full bump / lock in each direction.

I have 34's and I just barely kiss it with factory bump locations. I shimmed the superbumps 3/8" and I'm good now.

He is right though between tires and everything else, clearance is unique for every truck.

And after a long Sunday of mock ups, measuring, and assembly I finally got my shocks installed.

looks like I need to go 37’s based on the wheel well.

    IMG_6756.jpg

    IMG_6757.jpg

Fender, flare, and bumper all trimmed obviously, but I’m surprised not to be hitting the inner fender/headlight bucket.

The rod end is the required length to clear CV shaft. This is the +2” rod end I inquired about a few posts/months ago. KRS-25005-003

I currently have the “tall” spring perch. I don’t love it, and I’ll buy the shorter one to see if it fits/reduces preload on the spring.

    IMG_6763.jpg

I’m at ~.25” preload on each shock and I’m still surprised with how high the truck is sitting. Don’t love it. Hopefully the springs will settle a little bit? Or the spring perch will help lower it.

Agreed. I ran my Icon mid travel for several months with this kit and had no issues. I was limiting travel vs 8" coilovers, but still had better travel than stock length UCA/LCA.

That's weird I had to jack my coils way down with preload to even fight to get to 2.5" lift

Gotcha, that makes sense. I have 600s. I was actually thinking of going to 650s
