Just bought this kit, mainly because of you @Brian422. I'm committing hard to the 4Runner (03 V8) so I don't keep this 80 series I'm restoring, haha.

Awesome, Let us know how the install goes and post pics in here of what your impressions are. I don't think you'll be dissatisfied. I know i haven't yet. Really only thing holding this kit back is where its produced and thats it.

Don't think I'm planning on it. The welds look solid to me and it's built well IMO.

Just go with the allpro LT spec ones on their website, I’ve got the dirt king spec ones and the rod end isn’t long enough so it limits my travel a little. But I got them brand new for lik 700 off lol so could pass up

i was under impression the ap kit used standard 8" travel lt shocks. is it just the rod end thats different? anything a little grinding couldn't take care of?

By the look of the ones I’ve seen they are longer but also have a longer rod end as well and use the standard ext travel to hat.

You can buy complete assembly's herehttps://www.cvjreman.com/product/9808-lt2/. CVJ uses OEM inners and outers

Or you can construct your own and save some money by reusing your OEM inners and outers.
