Keep in mind, depo is a good brand but it's still a knockoff and knockoffs are unpredictable

My Camry headlights were getting old and foggy after a whole 4 years of life. Quality Toyota headlights from the factory per usual. I decided to replace with Depo coz they are about half the cost of OEM parts from Toyota, and since the original Toyota headlights showed such quality as to only last 4 years I figure it wouldn’t take much for Depo to best that. They looked nice, fit perfectly, and quality wise I couldn’t really tell apart from the factory ones. Unfortunately after 3 years I ended right back with foggy headlights. So I just consider headlights a 3-4 year replacement item on the Camry I guess, and I’m not paying the $900 for a set of factory Toyota when they don’t really seem to last any longer than the Depos. Maybe the Tacoma stuff will prove to be better, but I don’t have much hope based off my previous Toyota experiences. If I was going to buy new headlights for the Tacoma I would probably give Depo a shot there too, again, doesn’t take much to equal the subpar longevity of Toyota headlights.

Take your lights to a good body shop and have them sand and polish them out, then have them clear them with a quality paint with UV protectant and the will be good for years. Did this with my old Nissan when I got tired of doing the headlight restore process. They shouldn’t charge more that $100-$150.

The product "Like New" is very good. Just pay attention to masking the paint and do a lot of sanding if they are real bed. $10.00 and a bit of time with yer Taco....

I got the same brand for my evo. To prevent fogging just use some clear silicone around the headlight and all will be good

Yeah if your balling on money, OEM would be something to consider however I doubt buying the OEM will provide you with a plug and play set up. What I am reading on those headlights is they do not require rewiring. Im assuming the originals have a diff connector at the DRL connection to a SR model. Another advantage I see is the cost. 435 for a new set with you not having to do anything else or worry about anything is better than a grand and still have to figure out if you can make it work, etc.

I just saw a thread of a guy who dealt with condensation on his OEMs so im pretty sure you deal with that on both OEM and aftermarkets. IMO

I installed them today on my offroad. The boggest benefit sr5 gets is led strip. I got them for theblacked out Faux Pro housing. They are a reputable company and the quality seemed fine. I highly recommend

Long story short I had the TSB needed for the burnt DTRL in my 2nd gen. The dealer screwed me over and after 4-5 months of back and forth they shipped me DEPO lights. I was so over the dealership I accepted them, ran some silicon around the seals and they've been good ever since. Probably going on 2-3 years now.

So I just checked out that site and as I was going through I noticed it said "without DRL" and there was no option for if your vehicle has DRL's.

I see you have the same as me, a '17 TRDOR, so did those work fine?

You can get them. I will provide a write up. Its an easy fix. The drl’s even look slightly nicer than factory. These lights really transformed my front end so much i got their tail lamps.

I purchased them from www.uniquestyleracing.com. They are discounting them for a bit 15% off if use mtntaco at checkout. I have no affiliation with them but went down to their warehouse since they are local to hold them up to my truck and check them out. I was instantly sold once meeting some of their staff and seeing how much better they look. These fit any model Tacoma. It says sr5 cause those dont have led strips.

My 17 pro had leaking headlights last year and dealer replaced under warranty

Few weeks ago the new headlights were leaking again. At 63k miles I am way past warranty

Dealer replaced them and let me keep the “leaky” headlights

I have sealed them up. Planning on installing on my recently purchased 18 SR
