In for the install/review. When you visited them, did they mention by any chance what projectors they are using in their housings?

Looking forward to pics. I did the BLHM but I much prefer the actual Pro gloss black housings.

I wonder if these use permaseal or butyl to seal them? Hmmm

Figured it was a long shot. Same as the other guy, I had depo lights in my e36 me and loved them. That's what's got me intrigued.

So the headlights are plug and play for the TRD models then? The description is a little confusion by saying they are made for an SR model w/o the drl led.

All is plug and play except drl. All you do is clip the 3 drl factory wires and attach them to the new drl 3 wires. Thats all. If you dont like it its easy to reattach.

I did BHLM to my depo lights & it was butyl in the seams. Took some work but turned out nice & never leaked

There is a guy on instagram (teejaywelch) that definitely has a set of them installed on his black SR5. He’s trying to make people think that they are oem pro headlights but we all know that it is impossible to have led drl on SR and SR5 models.

Well sucks if he is faking it but i have no shame saying their knockoffs since they still look just as good. Never been one to pass off fakes as authentics. I guess for the sr5’s who want the led strips these are a great option. I went with them for the black housing. Even if i had the cash id probsbly still go these over oem. The tailamps are very nice too and to get the whole set front and back for just over 500 while their on sale i thought was well worth it.

Why cant pros be altered for sr5’s?

Just checked out his IG. He has a clean looking build going he just needs the fogs now. The block looks sweet with the black housing on his truck. But ya I agree shouldnt fake it

Sr and SR5s can put on lights with LED strip just have to cut into some wires and that is not something I am willing to do. So this is likely what I will do bc I like the LED DRLs and didn't realize how much I would regret not having them when buying the sr5 model. Do you still have the converting module leftover since you didn't need it right?

I really like what depo has done and Im looking to get a set myself. Especially for the price. I was gonna try to customize oem massive headlights to something similar what mesojdm has done but its a lot of money so I guess depo wins.
