Took the $1150 the insurance offered after going to 3 different quotes that were all around 32k. Showed the quotes to the insurance agent and they said it was not actual market research. I figure I'm out of luck because the wreck was my fault. Highest he said I would get is 2200 but he said I would need market research and proof that my vehicle was being considered rough condition as opposed to average. My insurance was great at getting my vehicle fixed in the first place so I'm not trying to hassle with them. Last thing I want to do is make someone mad and my rates shoot up or something. All good.

 

This is interesting and I would have tried this if I hadnt already accepted the 1150 they offered.
