Very nice looking setup! Do you have the 1156mm (length) Front Runner or the 1560mm? I'm wondering what the 1560 would look like on my 6 foot canopy - I just can't seem to find anyone that has anything other than a Prinsu on the long bed.

I have the 1156mm on mine. It came recommended by Bryan over at Front Runner Outfitters based on the dimensions. He's quick to respond so shoot him an email Bryan@frontrunneroutfitters.com

    Cheers!

Truck looks fantastic. The red bronze combo is awesome. I have been thinking about going to a premium coilover setup like the icon or OME BP-51, what was it that made you switch? I'm currently running 5100's with 885's, the ride and performance are definitely better than stock but I would like something the soaks up the bumps better.

Thanks--I have the Raider canopy. It's a Canadian company that has held up really well for me.

I decided that I wanted a more capable overland/off road truck than what the stock TRD OR package offered. I felt that after 4 years of being pretty much stock, then having paid the truck off, I was due for some upgrades.

I had a convo with a good friend of mine, and I really believe truck mods, more than other vehicle types, should have a natural order; Suspension comes first, esp for a tacoma. For me, the suspension upgrade really dictated what other mods I wanted so that was a big factor in going with the ICONs.

As for soaking up bumps, what you may want to consider is whether a mid travel or long travel set up is better suited for you. At the moment, I'm more into camping and overlanding vs baja/go fast. Maybe future me wants to get a LT suspension, but for now, this set up does the job. Sorry for the delay in response, I'll try to answer faster next time!

Thanks man, I'm still looking and waiting.(one more payment to make on the truck) I'm leaning towards Icon stage 7 or OME BP-51. I've ridden in vehicles using both setups. The adjustability of the bypass shocks is totally what I'm looking for. Now I just need to find someone running the new Bilstein bypass shocks. My inner cheapskate says I should get the OME, because I can get new rear leafs included for about a grand less than Icon and I would still need leaf springs. The Billies are stupid expensive so that's probably going to rule them out.

Im dealing with the exact same issue in terms of the rear leafs. I went with Icon and am going to need an upgrade on the rears...Ome preferably. Looking forward to seeing what you decide on. Keep me posted!

Truck looks so awesome. Wished I got red. Did you remove the Crawlorado hood vinyl or is it not installed yet?

Thanks! Vinyl wasn't installed quite yet, need to get out and snap some updated pics. Don't sleep on that pyrite, though. Your truck's looking good man!

That was my brother's Pro before he got in an accident. Don't think he had too many photos posted because he only had the truck for about a year. He was running 285's on the stock trd pro suspension and removed the lip on the trd wheels. Didn't have too many issues with rubbing while crawling, and I can tell you that the tire/wheel combo looked awesome!

Oh I'm sorry to hear that very good looking truck. That is a sick combo for sure. I think the k02 has a little more of a side wall bulge on the trd wheel with the slightly narrower 7.5 rim. They look mean on there!! I was debating the ko2 or the falken wildpeak MT. Do you know if he painted the bolt holes where the lip was held on or just ran the bolts on the wheel.
