Here's the mega thread for the Plastidip.

    It's easy.

    1) Grab some 2" blue painter's tape and place it around emblems about 2" away from them.
    2) cover surrounding area with newspaper to contain the overspray.
    3) light coats are better. 1st coat you should still be able to see the chrome on your emblems.
    4) 15 minutes later give it another light coat
    5) continue this until you have 4-5 coats on it and it's completely covered.
    6) let it sit a good hour or so after last coat to dry.
    7) peel off the tape and newspaper around emblem
    8) grab the edge of the derp that is around your emblem and start pulling it off the truck. When you get it to the emblem be careful and pull it away from the emblem and it will cut itself along the letters.
    9) Use a toothpick to get it loose inside the letters. The toothpick won't scratch the paint like metal will.
    10) Sit back and enjoy your new black emblems or whatever color you choose to do them.

Last weekend, I did all my badges as well as the grille and rear bumper. Loving it so far. It was very simple.

Make sure you either wait till it warms up or you pre-heat your cans(I prefer waiting until it warms up but I can done the can down the pants method) if you don't it'll splatter and have the texture of bed liner

I dismounted my wheels and cleaned them well with regular car wash soap and the wash mitt.

I painted center caps separately with them removed.

For the wheel I did not mask off anything just sprayed it took one can per tire to do front and back of rim, some over spray got on the rubber of the tire it just falls off after a week or two.

It needs to be at least 60 degrees out, the warmer the better.

Don't overthink it, just do it.
