This is always the first place I go when looking for answers. Therefore i have a question that has probably been asked before but anyways, if I got a custom waterproof airbox for my 2019 trd pro Tacoma, would the intake then work as a snorkel? (Obviously would make sure all the lines are waterproofed as well but just keeping the factory pipe)

the air inlet would be the limiting factor. If you don’t have a snorkel, it’s in the wheel well. It’s already high enough to not really have issues, but the snorkel brings it up higher for those that need or want it to be.
