They don’t even put them on the Land Cruisers, though they get an intake in Australia.

I think in the Middle East buyers mostly looking for nice swooshy graphics.

My dude... But... My dude... :annoyed:

Look at the location of that scoop... It's towards the rearmost of the hood. The scoop is clearly going to get more air the further back it is mounted especially on his. It's not an apples to apples comparison. Ours is smack dab in the middle of the hood. The amount of air flowing through it is minute at best.

Mine is already opened up at the honeycomb. It took a painstaking amoint of time with the Dremel, and behind it is factory plastic so I had to Dremel certain section as well. It's in the "Our AC sucks" thread I posted up about a year or two ago. I'll take my free engine cleaned now. :D

Zoom in. You'll see the cuts because the slots are so small the Dremel sort of cut into the cross sections of the honeycomb. In certain parts. I'll need a Jewelers file to clean them up which I don't feel like spending coin on.

    Heat extraction? Hell yeah.

This in conjunction with (they have to coincide together because this alone will not be as effective) with removing the cowl weather stripping during the summer has affected my AC enough to blow considerably colder in the interior of the cabin while at a full standstill while the ambient temperatures are 95*F or hotter under the California sun. Mission accomplished.

My intake on the other hand is mounted in front of the radiator. Legit ram air for my blower. At least as good as it gets for Tacoma intake setups. :D

I’m going to drive down to Cali to hand deliver your bottle of engine cleaner. I hope you don’t mind it’s the Chinese variety. Then we are going to hit the high-speed trails and compare engine temps.

Hahaha. Hey man, engine cleaner is engine cleaner even if hand formulated by the ancient Chinese people in a sweat shop themselves. Maybe we can wash my truck while your hear because this junker is so dirty. :D
