@huntv ...yep to those comments I quoted above from you. I'm waiting on my waterport for about 3 weeks now...supposed o ship "this week". Waited on gas/water storage for about 3 weeks. Amazon thinks I never received my total Chaos bed stiffeners and wants me to submit a claim...they've been installed for a month now. And I could go on. All "systems" are in disarray it seems. And I have 80.5 days before I'm off grid for an extended time. So I wait. Patiently.

 

UPS is horrible right now. They lost my upTop roof rack for 2 weeks. It was “lost” at the final UPS hub prior to delivery. Once a claim started, they somehow found my missing package. It sucks, and yes, it happens. It I’m still glad I got my upTop rack. It’s bad ass! Yeah, COVID has affected everything. Just be glad your still breathing air and living in a time history is happening. I’m going camping this weekend and was hoping to have my tent for it and if I don’t get to use it, I’ll be very disappointed. But I have a plan b and will still go out and enjoy the quietness of nature.

I do think the owners can improve on their communication, but I don’t think their internet was to scam and intentionally delay our tents. Once I get my tent, I’ll make a video review of the RTT for those people who are wobbling on a DA tent.

 

I’d be willing to wait with good updates and all, but with my experiences with shipping, those “magic numbers” going into the little “magic box” or whatever usually show up within 24 hrs. Sounds like a big error if everyone had issues with it, and I feel bad for the shipper too if it wasn’t their fault. Hope it works out for you guys soon!

This just came up for me. So I’m sure there are other places with issues. I’m not making excuses for the owners when I say corona virus is causing the issues.

 

No offense to you... but i would like the owner of the company to reply back to me. Not a person that doesnt work for the company. Plus i thought they already shipped and ups has them correct? How could i possible cancel if that was the case...

 

No problem. PM me your order number. He’s already tracking on the info on this thread.

They just intercept your shipment. Turn it around and send it back. They’ve already done it to one that I know of.

If he's tracking all the info on this thread maybe it would be cool for him to go ahead and reply to us about the hold up. Or whats wrong with all of our tracking numbers. Just dont like being left out in the dark.

I am willing to wait for the tent that is not a problem. It is frustrating though when you are given info and it doesnt pan out.
I think if they would have just held off a bit before sending the tracking numbers to make sure that everything was good then a lot of this could have been avoided.
Im sure anyone would be frustrated if they received a tracking number and 8 days later its still not even recognized is the tracking system.
And if something personal happened with them that affects their business operations, they could have just sent out an email stating that there have been delays beyond their control and not get into details.
Any update is better than not hearing anything at all, even if its not good news.

I am really looking forward to the tent, but like everyone else has said, better communication from DA would really help here. As of this post my tracking number still isnt working.

 

I’m in the same boat as you guys. I wish my tracking info would update too.

I try to update you guys as I can.

Here’s how the freight works. (I use to work for a freight company) DA fills out the paperwork and then labels the tent boxes with the pro number we got.
Once it’s labeled, they can send out the tracking, which they did.
Insert ups issue. They sent the wrong truck. So. Add 2 days for pro number to be inputted. They picked up Friday at 4:30 pm. So. Those nice, happy employees of ups now have to get to our pro numbers. Which were probably not even scanned in until today. Anyways. Long story short. All of our tents are at ups freight.

@DanishTaco bro, I think you’re gonna regret cancelling at the very last moment. It’s hard getting any camping stuff right now. How do I know? My wife wanted a freaking overpriced Yeti and I had to go to so many different stores just to get 1. Don’t like the tent after you buy it? Resell it for a profit, cause the demand is there. Lol.

Take the high road and I think you’ll be rewarded.
