Well not much to tell yet.
It’ll be a lot like the MIA / Tuff / Toro tent. The larger shell top style. The rest will be about the same. The shell is the big difference. It’ll be that gloss larger style.

 

As in taller shell? Should allow for some bedding to be left in eh?

I'm interested in the Ninja. Is it the same as the Roofnest Falcon just rebranded? I also have the same setup with the Prinsu racks. Mounting it like above, wouldn't there be issues with Flex? I'm sure while driving, that tent is rubbing, scraping and bumping on that cabrac. I'm wondering if a 1/2 inch rise would be enough to prevent this or would you have to go to a 1 inch or more?

If you are worried about the rubbing I’d add 1/2 spacer. Yes.

Does the 6 1/2" thickness of the Ninja account for the base mounting rail?

I'm pushing the limits on whether this will fit in my garage or not. That's why I was also asking if a 1/2 rise would be enough over the cab.

it’ll be just under 7”
This tent won’t rub the rack on the cab. The bed doesn’t flex that much.

Thanks, It looked like from the pictures the mounting rail is tucked under there a fair amount. If I put in a 3/4" spacer (hopefully that's enough clearance over the cab) plus the 1/4" rail and the 6 1/2" tent puts me at 7 1/2". with the Taco lean I'll just rub on the weather strip on the top of the opening for my garage on the passenger side.
