Yea more concerned about the shipping issue. As I said, I’ve heard about 10 times it’s getting shipped “now”.

 

Nope. Shipping hasn’t updated for 2 weeks. I’ve been told multiple times it was going out. I ordered in February.

 

Yea that’s the same photo I saw 2 weeks ago. Just sending a photo doesn’t mean my tent got on a truck.

 

Tents aren’t on the truck…
They’re at the warehouse.

Did I tell you two weeks ago they shipped? Or that they were shipping in a week or so?

 

Eric told me 2 weeks ago. And when I get shipping, that normally means it’s getting shipped. Then no updates since 5/25.

Just the worst customer service experience I’ve ever experienced. Like I said before, since I can’t get a full refund, the tent won’t even be opened. My wife and I don’t want their logo on our vehicle after this.

 

Yep I was told that 2 weeks ago. “The tents are here and ready to go.” Ok, almost 3 weeks later, they’re still sitting there. Almost 6 effing months to receive a product that initially said would ship in March. And then to hear everyone getting sub par Chinese product and no updates from the company unless the customer reaches out?! Absolute joke.

Edit: no I didn’t want my tent yesterday, I wanted it in March like the website said when I ordered it. Talk about false advertising. Basically stealing peoples money.

 

I get you're frustrated and I'm not excusing their bullshit communication issues (copy/pasting responses that cause grievances and send misinformation like in your case) but the shipping issues don't get much better with most other vendors unfortunately. I totally expected them to not hit their advertised dates. If you really want a refund I would reach out to them. If they try and charge you a re-stocking fee just call your CC company and do a chargeback. There is enough evidence of false advertising and misinformation that it shouldn't be a problem.

I'm looking at other options and no one really has anything similar to the Warrior XL around the same price except for Tuff Stuff and their tent aluminum covers seem to be unnecessarily larger and are all on "back order" and out of stock so same deal to me. If I have to run some rubber around the edges so be it I guess.

Thanks for your reply. Yea that’s an option or I can just sell it for what I paid for. I don’t even own the truck I was going to use it with anymore. That’s how long it’s been. I’ll be going CVT MT. HOOD for the 4runner.

 

As soon as FedEx can grab them. Seriously. I know it’s a pain to hear it. But that is currently the hold up.

Ok cool. Thanks for showing me that the tents still haven’t moved. I appreciate it. Just shows my tent is still not on its way.

 

Just proves that it's on FedEx to pick them up honestly. It's understandable to me that they're not able to pickup more than a few tents a day. Nothing DA can do about that unfortunately. The only thing I blame DA for is lack of personable communication.

 

Why don’t you go to the 4Runner forum and complain there. I have a thread going there too you can clog up.

I mean seriously. You’ve complained before. Then happy. Now you’re complaining again. All you’re doing is causing unnecessary grief to other patiently waiting customer who actually are doing their best waiting on their purchase.

 

They did but again, it was bullshit generic updates and didn't say anything other than "they're not here yet". Once they got the tents I'm sure it's been a scramble to pallet them up individually and get them out the door as fast as FedEx can pick them up.
