So it's been awhile since I've done much with my thread but I've got a lot of prep work to do for San G! Past few days have been slow but productive.

Finished the rebuild on my 2.5s to realize that I didn't have the equipment to install the springs. Try to figure out the cost or brainstorm a way to get these 650s on.

Didn't realize that the fluid capacity was not specifically listed and available on the interwebs. I read a lot of theory about the IFP location in the resivoir on a 2.0 but not much info on the 2.5. I used the information I read and came up with 4 7/8"s into the resivoir and then bleeding the fluid.

Got my TredPros from the recent group buy! Thanks @ramonortiz55 for putting this one on. Got these just in time for winter!

I have plenty of landscape that wasn't being used on the roof rack and wanted to mount these up high. Read through the Prinsu "how to" thread and got this mounting solution from @Chux ,not my idea! Altered a few things and used scrap metal and a few bolts to make this. If I were to do it again I would have altered the size bolt I used. Using a 9/16" apparently is not a common size and makes securing options a little more difficult. Also makes getting the boards on and off due to the bolt being so tight.

It's been a few weeks since any updates on the build or adventures on the forums, but that's because we've been busy!

Got to attend the San Gorgonio meet and had a great time with the TW family! Thanks @BLKTRUCK for taking the time to organize this event. It was good to see old faces and new and spend the weekend relaxing on the trails. Too many people to list buy you all know who you are!

Also, thanks to @YumaTRD for organizing and taking point on the 4x4 trail run up Gold Mt. trail. It was a slow, but extremely fun trip and a great learning experience for anyone who went.

    Photo Dump!

Drove out to JT last night to meet a friend who just got back from deployment. Him and his wife drove out from VA with his wife so we met up for some camping. Beautiful weather out here!

Did this before the San G. trip, but I haven't been very good at the updates lately.

Installing the Dakars and Headstrong OffRoad leaf bushings.

Fully loaded for the trip with the new leafs installed. Huge difference in weight capabilities. IMG_2210.jpg

Ran Bronco Peak in Carrol Canyon 2 weekends ago with @YumaTRD and @Prayn4surf. I admit, I knew the trail would be difficult, but I think we got ourselves into a little more than we had bartered for. Either way, we completed the trail with minimal damage and no casualties. Definitely pushed ourselves and our rigs and learned a ton along the way. Wouldn't have chosen a better group to go with!

Rocking my @Pelfreybilt T-shirt on the trail hoping the trail gods were there for support. My Pelfreybilt sliders paid for themselves that day and took a huge beating, probably the best investment I've made on the truck yet.
