Yeah, they are there. I have the sway bar option too so I guess that all works out.

I see Ryan already answered this, but you have the 8.4" rear axle and 3.73 gears
Also glad to have found your build thread!
Who'd you have do the cam tab gussets? I still need to get that done.

Thanks for the confirmation. That would be why she can be a dog to drive. Thinking 4.56 are in the future!
I did them. Haha. Probably not the most qualified or cleanest work, but they got me into alignment and haven't failed me yet!

@Pirhett what was the switch panel you recommended last night for the overhead? I want to start doing some smaller mods while the wallet takes a break from anything big.

Going to grab a fuse panel bracket next paycheck and start getting all of it wired up for lights/compressor.

    Thanks!

I have the switch panels and I'm also working on a RTMR system too. I should have configurations for sunglass holder or using my switch panel.

I'd be interested in a sunglass holder configuration. Do you have a link to narrow down my search?

So I did some small mods just before the Joshua Tree trip that I wanted to post up.

First was the 12V "always on mod" so that I could keep devices charging with the engine being on and off. You really just have to remember to unplug equipment you don't want to charge for long periods of time, but for the JT trip it was great for our phones. I did the relay route. Very easy to do and nothing permanent if I want to remove it some day. I am not responsible for any damage or harm that you may experience. If you are uncomfortable attempting this mod, then id recommend seeking professional help. I also recommend disconnecting your negative battery terminal for working on electrical.

This is the location of the bolt on the right side of the steering wheel to remove the cover.

Coin cup and panel removed, right side.

Remove the business card holder on the left side of the steering wheel to expose the fuse panel. I think there were 3 bolts holding the panel in.
    IMG_1401.jpg

    One of the bolt locations
    IMG_1405.jpg

You have to remove the cover below the steering wheel to get to the relay. I left my hood pop attached and just let it hand. One of the bolts holding it on is behind the left foot kick panel.
    IMG_1402.jpg

You can see the relay is located behind the fuse panel. Once you have the bolts/screws holding the panel in place, you can move it down enough to access the relay without removing any connectors. Its the very left relay. Just gently apply pressure and wiggle back and forth. It's in there nice and snug but it will come out. I just a small screwdriver to apply leverage once a gap was exposed but be careful not to break or ground anything.
    IMG_1403.jpg

This is my workspace. Not a lot of tools required. (resistors are from a previous mod on my SuperDuke R.)
    IMG_1408.jpg

I used my knife/screwdriver to pry the tabs on the bottom of the relay open. Minimal damage done. Just pop out one side at a time and pull the cover off.
    IMG_1407.jpg

This is before the soldering. You can see where the relay makes contact once power is sent to the circuit.
    IMG_1406.jpg

Just a little solder on the connecting point. Keep contact with the iron to a minimum and don't overheat the relay. It gets hot fast.
    IMG_1409.jpg

Reverse assembly. Works like a charm and no battery issues as of yet. It's only been a week.

The next mod I attempted was the zip tie mod for the steering wheel rattle. It was a failure. I don't know if I used a big enough zip tie, so I might try that, but the rattle was still pretty bad on the trails. Any suggestions?

My photo dump from the trip. Had a great time! Didn't really get any action pics but we definitely saw some action!

Also, thats to @goblue82 and @eccracer104 for letting me ride in their rigs and showing me how mid travel rides. I want to open up my wallet a LOT sooner than planned! Couldn't believe how their trucks drove over the desert compared to mine. My mod priorities have changed... again.

Dudes are selling their coilovers on the for sale thread all the time. More than half the time they haven't even beat on them badly. You could find a good used set and like @goblue82 said, you can just rebuild them and they'll be brand new pretty much
