I honestly don’t remember why I jumped on Tim’s truck. That was my beer in hand. The second statement was valid though. I was at the bottom of a long as hill and my truck was at the top.

Yup, those are mine. I like to think I can melt metal together. It stays together more often times than not.

Thanks though! So far they are holding together so I’m pretty happy.

Entertaining to say the least. When we first showed up there was only one Jeep with 4 people there only to spectate. After making lunch, a bunch of vehicles came through to do the gatekeeper. It was a good time to watch.

I took some crappy pics I’ll post up soon.

Did you run John Bull? I've ran it in my crawler, but that throws my "easy trail" meter off, as everything is easy in that thing haha. I debated trying it when we were up there a few weeks ago...ended up deciding not to.

Adding Jiffy pop to my camping supplies for when we stop at the gatekeepers.

How TF did your truck get to the top of a long hill, leaving you at the bottom?

You’re not lying. It was a site to see. Too many cheifs and too many beers before hand.

No, we went to the gatekeeper on the east side to have lunch and watch the show. This was a solo trip and I don’t have a winch so it had to wait.

It’s on the list of trails to do very soon though. What’s your crawler?

Hell yeah! That’s awesome. Sorry if I dont see your links very well. I browse on TW 99% of the time on my phone.

If I had the means I would like to build a more dedicated crawler and save my truck for more well rounded purposes but I’m not there yet so she’ll have to do.

The guys I was talking to at the gatekeeper said the trail was much more tame than it was 5 or so years ago. Can be a good and a bad thing I guess.

No worries, I just meant if you want details. I've had crawlers since college, this one's actually up for sale right now, just don't have the time to use it or motivation to work on it to keep up with my buddies in their well-built buggies. Other toys are taking precedence haha.

I’ll check it out when I grab some brews and get on my computer.

I’ve always been into bikes and more interested in going fast so the crawling thing is new. The Taco does well enough that i can get my fix in a little of all areas without going too extreme in one direction. Plus, I dont have a tow rig so there’s that.

Great build, But I agree on selling instead of keeping up with your buddies builds.

Weird question for ya, do you recall where you got that ARB patch? I've been looking for one like it. Only ones I can find online are mostly white, which isn't my style. (Also, tried emailing ARB directly after I bought my bullbar, but no response from them..)

I’m fairly positive I got that at the Overland Expo 2017. It’s an old picture, but most of my patches are collected from different events.
