Are you having a similar problem as @stlntaco as far as needing to stop the up travel early to prevent tire contact on your fenders?

I ask because I also a set of front bump tops that was designed to work with the TC LCA without the need of the weld in bump stop spacer.

We have pretty close to the same setup. So I can tell you what happens when you jump it. Your tires will bash your fenders and your skid plate will hit the ground. So I just sold my 33s and bought 35s to keep the skid off the ground and got these bumpstops plus some firewall pounding to keep the tires off the fiberglass.

That looks like a painful landing no matter what you have going on bump stop wise.

Did you get this resolved? Running Dirt King lowers and thinking of ditching the Super Bumps. I need a pile of spacers to properly limit up travel on the shock, do you have a version that does not need any spacers to fit aftermarket arms?

@Plastics Guy I have a stock 3rd gen TRD OR and I'm not really interested in a lift or stiffer springs, as I usually run a light load (stock bumpers, no shell or RTT etc) and I'm only running mildly larger tires (265/75-16). Anyway, when I am fully loaded for camping I do occasionally bottom out the rear, both off-pavement as well as on bad freeway bumps. Can I assume your stock height 3.5" bump stops are the right application for the rear, and if I decide to add front stops, one size fits all at the front end? Also, are there any advantages to the U bolt flip kit if one isn't regularly grinding U bolt ends on the rocks ... which I'm not. Thanks.

Yessir, The 3.5" Durobump is what you need for your stock 3rd gen Tacoma. Front bump stops are a one size fits all (providing you still have the OEM LCA).

I forget what brand I have, I think wheelers super bumps. Does that sound right? Anyhow, they're tall as f*ck. Like, 4 or 5 inches long and even at ride height they're only an inch and a half off the LCA. I'd love to look into a set of these

I have 2 different sizes available.

A 3.5" version which is used for stock height Tacoma's including TRD models.

I also have a 4.25" version that is intended to work with Tacoma's that have a lift of 2"+.

Either size includes a standard mounting plate that works with your OEM square shaped U-bolts OR you can upgrade to a complete U-bolt flip kit. Here is a link for you to check out.

    https://www.toyotabumpstops.com/ind...ar-bump-stops-with-u-bolt-flip-kit-2005-2015/

Durobumps are made of Rubber VS. the Superbumps Foam. With Rubber, Durobumps can achieve the same dampening as the Foam but in a much small package that allows us to fine tune our products and design the only application specific bump stops on the market.

No one can take away from how cool the guys at Wheeler's are though!... Plus they give you candy with every order.
