Hey everyone, I have a 1997 Tacoma that is making a rachety noise at the power steering pump when spinning. I don't have money for a pump at the moment and the only way to make that money is to go work for it in that truck. Do you think I will be ok driving it or is it destined for disaster? What can I expect? Also if so, can anyone recommend any good pricing on the pumps as well? Thanks!

you can pull the belt and drive it fine, we drove ours with 35 BFG's for a few days when the pump went out, really wasn't an issue. You can get pumps anywhere for around $150. Check your build date because that affects which pump you need.
