Not yet unfortunately. There's been no update for the last 4 days on the missing box of Swisstrax edge pieces from UPS. I'm pretty sure they've lost them. I'm waiting for Obsessed Garage to get back to me about ordering/sending replacements/dealing with UPS's incompetence. :playball:

Your Swisstrax pieces is probably in Hawaii by now.

I hope you're not in a rush. With Christmas shopping, It's probably going to be awhile.

I couldn't wait. I laid out the bulk of it and I'll finish it whenever the edges arrive. I've been thinking about adding a contrasting stripe in the middle to break it up, but I haven't decided on a color. It's wild, but also calming to me. I like it. :)

    Looking good!

If something spills underneath the flooring, Do you have to disassemble the floor to clean?

Yes, but it pulls apart and clicks back together very easily. Also, I can slide big sections of it around without much effort. Oil changes and stuff like that will be done in the driveway and not on the Swisstrax.

The detailing force is strong with this one.....:laser:

I moved at the end of July to a new house. I had no garage at the old place and no garage at the new place but at least I had a shed that was set up with my detailing supplies at the old place. I have not reached the appropriate level of organization for all the detailing supplies in the new basement but that will happen in time. I have at least thrown all the supplies in one area and put most supplies on a bookshelf. I am a fan of detailersdomain.com. They have a forum that has a ton of posts about various vehicles that have been detailed, often with specific links to the products used in the process. Detailers Domain has periodic "Mystery Box" sales that they use to purge their excess product stock at modest savings. A few of the boxes they sell are a "jackpot" box that has a Rupes or other high price item inside. Those are randomly (I hope) given away.

I think it was Autogeek who posted a pictures of their garage clean up. They rip up the whole flooring then pressure wash the whole garage, plus the flooring. Then re-installed everything. It cleaned up good. A big difference. I never notice how dirty it was until it was cleaned.

Can the Swisstrax withstand jack stands?

It's recommended to put a barrier like a piece of plywood under the jack stands.

I have to use plywood with my jack stands on asphalt. The asphalt in this area is recycle leftover junk.

    Anything on tracking yet?

Obsessed Garage emailed me back and said UPS apparently resolved it on their own. Replacement edges are supposed to be here on 28th by the end of the day. :)

Man, I sure wish I had enough room in my garage to store my stuff like that, lol. Too tiny to have shelves which aren't full.

here’s my wash bay, will try and get some pics of my detailing carts and such in the next few days. I enjoy learning new things and taking on projects in my free time, so taught myself some basic plumbing skills by cutting into the drywall and turning one modest hose faucet into what you see here. hose bib for filling buckets with cold water, another for hot water for buckets, a hose bib hooked up to 100ft continental hose on a Eley hose reel, and then the direct feed piping up to the pressure washer, using simple ball valve control to switch between tap water or deionized water for rinsing.
