I'd like to be able to lubricate my truck, but don't know the locations of the fittings (chassie (sp) and pro shaft). Anyone have details on where they are and the size? I need to buy a grease gun to fit.

I have never lubricated a chassie before. I have only greased the bearing buddies on my old boat trailer. With that you just pump in the grease until it comes out the telltale hole. I'm sure it is not the same. Any comments on how you know you've put enough grease in?

    Great info, thanks!!

Are these the only items that need grease? Any thing on the chassis?

I need to get a new grease gun. I have a small one that I used to grease the bearing buddy fittings, but it is too small for the tube of grease that I bought. I stopped in at PEP BOYs to buy a grease gun and saw that they had a variety zirc fittings (both metric and US standard). Are all of the fittings on the Tacoma the same? If so, what size? Does it make a difference in what kind of gun I buy? Do I need to buy anything special as a grease gun to make sure it fits the zircs?

There are no zerks on the chassis, it needs no lube.
