detroys locker

    have anyone had any experience with the detroy locker?
    I have an 02 tacoma 2.7 engine, 4cyl. and thinking of putting a locker at the front deferential. any ideas?:confused:

    I've never tried out or installed a destroyed locker.

    I'm gonna say it now cause God only knows where this thread is gonna go but auto lockers are generally frowned upon here, ESPECIALLY in the front diff...

    Detroit makes a limit slip call the truetrac that's a would be nice for the front

    is there anyone use this detroit locker for their tacoma? rear defferentials?

    Detroit True-Track rear limited slip, steering rack bushings, shell, SAF decals, older-than-dirt owner
    I have one of those in my rear diff. Works very well, but would get a locker if I were to do it again. It would be good in the front, agreed.

    Deck Plate Mod; Grey Wire Mod; 1.5" AAL; 1.75" Lift Shackles; Bilstein 5100's; Eiback Coils; LR UCA; Front Diff Drop; Tundra Brake Upgrade; Wheels Offroad Brake Lines; Rear Diff Breather Mod
    You CV axles wont hold up well to extra stress from getting a locker and/or bigger tires. If you want a locked front axle, you might want to look into a SAS.
