All emblems have been mailed, expect them within 3-4 days.
Our Canadian neighbors should get them in about one week
Thank you all, I'll spread the voice when I have the first gen. tacoma emblems ready.

I got mine yesterday. I thought $55 was a bit expensive, but this thing is a big hunk of metal. Worth every penny. Thanks.

Yeah people get scared when I give out prices but this trade is just expensive. I just finished a set of aluminum motorcycle hubs that I was working so I'm all available to begin the first gen. tacoma emblems. A guy in the forum was nice enough to send me the grill for this cause, it should get here in no time. Also... a customer that ordered one emblem to mount it to his grill craft grill just sent me an e-mail and apparently he was able to make it fit, I'm waiting on pics from him. I'll keep you guys posted on the progress.

i have been in the manufacturing end of the business since '88 and most people don't understand what all is included in the final pricing of goods.

    at a minimum and not by order of importance;

    • conception
    • R&D (Research and Development... probably the most time and $ spent on a product development)
    • design
    • material
    • manufacturing time (the actual production)
    • inspection
    • the time spent by each person involved
    • electricity (both to run the process and power the facility)
    • schedule (faster = more $$)
    • production run (number of pieces produced...the higher the run the more you can spread out the costs)
want to know why military aircraft costs so much, there it is.

automobiles have a much higher production rate, therefore lower consumer cost

sorry, pretty wordy, but there is ALOT involved

Hey does anyone have Andres's phone number. I paid him last Friday and he said he was mailing it out that same day - still haven't received it. Plus - I emailed him twice since and haven't gotten any response.
